About the ACCELERATION PROGRAM
Through our Acceleration Program we ensure growth. For you as a participant it’s a chance to understand our business, organization and culture, gain critical competence and access the needed network. For us at Stena it’s a chance to increase and diversify our pool of potential senior successors within the Group.
The benefits go two ways, as we all learn how to meet the future smarter and with greater competence. It will give both participants and us a chance to build productive networks within the Group.
We want to give participants new competence in strategic areas while at the same time mutually taking advantage of the participants' experiences and knowledge. One way of achieving this is to recruit participants to the program both from our own companies and externally. In the end the acceleration program will increase and diversify our talent pool.

THE ACCELERATION PROGRAM
The acceleration program consists of several different modules, each with a different aspect of working with and for Stena Metall. Within the one-year program we focus on accelerating the understanding of our strategic focus areas, on building competence, and on strengthening the participants’ personal network in relation to these areas.
The modules are not only about learning “how we usually do it” but just as much about having external input and capitalizing on the diversity of the participants. In short this means that you’re expected to take part in the learning process and the evolving of it. Apart from that, some of the areas covered in the program are Culture & Values, Leadership, Business Acumen, Continuous Improvements and Sustainability.
At Stena Metall Group we value you and stand by you. We also expect you to take full responsibility for your own development and use the acceleration program at its fullest. For example, this means making the most out of your personal network within the Group.
The program itself involves a mutual investment in people and in the business. To be able to grow together we need committed participants, and of course a committed Stena Metall. This way the acceleration program will bring out the best of all of us.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR
You should have an interest and desire to invest in your own career to grow within the Group. We also need you to fulfill all these requirements:
- a relevant university degree or equivalent work experience
- experience and training that correlates with the local position
- a minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- fluent use of English and of course your local language.
