As an IT-coordinator Johan Sommelius monitors all incoming mails and calls to the internal support function at Stena Metall and coordinates the support work with his team. The customers are colleagues from different companies and business areas across Europe.
“Stena Metall is a big company. It is interesting to have daily contacts with colleagues from all over the organization. My role is to coach everyone in my team and to give them the tools they need to do a good job. We always aim to meet our customers professionally and with confidence.”

“The challenging part is that there are so many different systems and issues to solve. This job demands that you can understand different systems and have a positive attitude. We always try to find new and more efficient ways to solve issues. But it is actually true that one common solution to many support cases is to restart the computer.”
