Reporting violations of the code of conduct

Throughout the Stena Metall Group, we strive to ensure that all employees act responsibly and behave in accordance with the law and values expressed in our Code of Conduct. Employees are usually the first to notice something illegal going on – or if the values in our Code of Conduct are being violated in a serious way.

If you notice something that violates the Stena Metall Code of Conduct, it is important that you report it.

This includes any serious incidents that are against the law, infringements of the Code of Conduct and/or occurrences that may damage the Stena Metall Group and/or other individuals and organizations.

Anonymous reports may only be made in the event of criminal activity or incidents that are in violation of the Code of Conduct and that can have serious consequences for the Stena Metall Group and/or another party.

Examples of areas that can be reported are irregularities relating to:Accounting, internal accounting control, auditing, bribery, money laundering or other financial crime.
Public procurement law, competition law, transport safety, environmental protection, or personal data.
Other misconduct contrary to law or regulation.
Serious violations of the Stena Metall Code of Conduct.

How can I report?

You should first speak with your immediate supervisor. If this is not appropriate, contact your manager's manager or HR manager in your company.

If the above options are not considered possible, you can report to an external whistleblower service. Whistleblower messages can be registered openly or anonymously.

There are three different ways to report a suspected violation via the whistleblower system:

Option 1: Report a suspected violation in writing through the whistleblower system.

Option 2: Report a suspected violation verbally by calling the relevant number for the company concerned – all numbers are published in the whistleblower system.

Option 3: Report a suspected violation face-to-face by submitting a request for a physical meeting via the whistleblower system or by telephone.
