We’re looking for a trainee with a passion for leading the business and creating results together with people – someone who is eager to learn together with us. You’ll have the opportunity to turn your academic knowledge into hands-on experience, participate in relevant training programs, expand your professional network, and build valuable understanding of our operations and how we create impact.
As part of the application process for the Branch Manager Trainee role, we ask you to indicate which of our branches you would be interested in working at after completing the Trainee Program. Final placement will be determined based on the company’s business needs, while taking your preferences into consideration.
The program starts on the 1st of September 2026. During the program you will travel to Sweden, Norway, Poland, and Italy, and get to know our business and people across the Europe.
We offer permanent employment from day one and a market-based salary. From the very beginning, you will work closely with experienced colleagues in operations in the role of a junior Branch Manager. Your home office location during the trainee program will be in Pasila, Helsinki or in Lahti. Extensive and regular travel to our Branches across Finland is a key part of the role and essential for onboarding and gaining a thorough, hands-on understanding of our operations. The goal is clear – after completing the 10-month program, you will have a permanent position at Stena Recycling Finland. Your title after trainee period will be Branch Manager.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, industrial economics, business management or related field. You can apply if you are still studying, but you need to graduate before the program begins.
- Up to two years of relevant full-time work experience after graduation.
- Driving licence.
- Fluent in Finnish and in English, both written and spoken.
- The ability to work on-site at Pasila, Helsinki or Lahti.
- Willingness and ability to travel in Finland and across Europe during the trainee program.
But more importantly:
